“Paalpaayasam” for Brahmarakshassu, “Neeranjana and ElluPaayasam” for Sastha;“Vadamala and Butter” for Hanuman etc. are considered to be great offerings which are capable of granting boons to the needy.
The most important among the Poojas offered to Saraswathy, Lakshmi and MahaKali fall during the Navarathri days in the month of ‘Kanni’. During the first three days ,AathiParasakthi is worshiped in a Thaamasa form as “MahaKali”; the next three days in her Rajasa form as “MahaLakshmi” and the last three days in the Satwika form as “MahaSaraswathi”. During this period, various rituals and art forms such as “KumkumaArchana”, special Poojas, Dance and Music Festival etc., are offered to the Mother.
ANNADAANA (FEEDING THE NEEDY)
This Temple has been providing food to all those gather during the noon time, for a period of six decades. Thousands of devotees throng everyday to receive the same.
